Closing down 2006

Well, looks as if 2006 will be but a memory in a few days...I have been on vacation this week, have not put my hands on anything remotely clay related since Friday! I decided to do a little purging of collected stuff this week. seemed like every drawer and closet was just filled with "stuff". But, purging is easier said than done. Being the proverbial squirrel, I just know that someday, someway I will need this thing that I have no idea what it is in the first place....If you talk about the sentimental "stuff", I ask myself "why do I save it?" Who needs a crayon box WITH the crayons my now 27 year old son used when he was in kindergarten? (Maybe I could use the crayons in the clay somehow?) see?

Anyway, during the course of the purging, I did come across the instruction manual for my digital camera that I "hate" because it can't get the closeups shots that I need. Well, come to read, I haven't been using the right settings! (and I'm also one of those people that put whatever together AND then read the directions).

Anyway, for your pleasure, here is a picture of a closeup of the "Mandolin Tube Bead Neckpiece"

So from now on, those manuals are going to be read!!! This will be "one" of my New Years Resolutions!!
